From the West
From Junction 40 of the M6 take
the renowned A686 for Alston.
3 miles after Hartside take the right
turn for Leadgate and Garrigill then
at the foot of the hill turn right and
follow the road for 3 miles into Garrigill.
Turn left at the village green and
you will find us straight ahead and
on the right of the George and
Dragon Inn.
From the East
At Scotch Corner take the A66
for Penrith and then turn right for
Barnard Castle. From here go on
to Middleton in Teesdale and follow
the road as it passes High Force
before turning left into Garrigill. At
the foot of the hill bear left and head
over the bridge. We are straight
ahead of you on the left hand side
just after the George and Dragon.
